Kristen Terrian was 39 years old when her body was recovered from the western shore of Beaver Island on August 9.
She was last seen on August 2 on Michibay Beach near the Manistique Township Park around 5:30 am.
After that, she was not seen anywhere.
Multiple agencies assisted in to search for Kristen including the US Coast Guard.
An autopsy was conducted to find out Kristen’s cause of drowning.
The police offer condolences to the family of Kristen.
Eugeniu Matcin was 31 years old when his body was recovered from the Milwaukee River on March 30.
Eugeniu was reported missing on the night of January 29 when family members reported that he was drinking all day and was out swimming in the Milwaukee River.
The police conducted an extensive search to find Eugeniu with the help of drones, dive teams, and K-9s, but all efforts to find him were unsuccessful that night.
On March 30, Eugeniu’s brother came back to Wisconsin and launched the boat to find his brother.
He spotted a body caught on fallen trees in the river and called 911.
The police identified the deceased person as Eugeniu due to circumstantial evidence.
The police have recovered the bodies of a 25-year-old mother (Khalilah Brister) and her 7-year-old daughter (Tyrielle Jefferson) from Milwaukee’s Northridge Lake.
The mother and daughter died after their car was submerged in the water on December 7.
According to the police report, the family of Khalilah Brister notified the police on December 7 after they received the call from Khalilah that she would drive her car to Lake Michigan and end her and her daughter’s lives.
They said that Khalilah was going through some stuff and suffered mental health issues for years.
A car was found on December 8 with 2 bodies in it.
The police are investigating what Khalilah was going through and why she drowned herself and her daughter.
Avery Meeks was just 24 years old when his body was found in the Milwaukee River on July 14.
According to the report, Avery was walking with his girlfriend on a trail on Humboldt Avenue Bridge on July 12.
He had a large stick, which he used to put on the rails and slide the water with the help of a stick.
Suddenly, his stick broke, and he fell into the water and never resurfaced.
Rescue efforts were started immediately to help Meeks out of the water, but the current was too strong.
His body was found near the footbridge at Caesar Park.
His death is ruled an accidental drowning.
Jerome F. Wasielewski was 56 years old when his body was found in Menomonee River on April 12.
Jerome was a Milwaukee County Transit System worker last seen on March 20, leaving the transit system building.
He was reported missing by his supervisor.
On April 12, an anonymous caller informed the authorities that he had seen a body floating in the water.
The police found Wasielewski’s body near the 16th Street Viaduct and Canal Street.
He was identified through his driver’s license, which was present in his wallet.
An investigation is going on about his drowning but the medical examiner says that there is no sign of trauma on his body.
