A 19 Year old unknown man was drowned in Lake Ontario

A 19-year-old man died after he was pulled from Lake Ontario near the Beach neighborhood. The Toronto police received several calls around 7 pm that a man was in distress. According to the police report, the man was swimming with his friends when he started to have trouble staying afloat.

He calls out his friends for help but by the time his friends reach him, he went underwater. The police marine unit was there within a short time and they located the man and pulled him out of the water with no vital signs. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
