A 26 Year old Unknown Man was drowned in Lake Michigan

A 26-year-old unknown man drowned in Lake Michigan after falling off a fishing boat.

The Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement saying that they received a call at about 10:30 am about a person who fell from his fishing vessel without a life jacket.

Other people on the board tried to throw him the life jacket, but the person could not reach it.

The person was out of sight within minutes, and the MCSO dispatched the marine division for a search.

The rescue units from different departments searched the area for about 4–5 hours but could not locate the man.

His body was recovered on Friday around two miles offshore in 80 feet of water.

His identity was not released.
