The body of a 56-year-old man was found floating in Lake Michigan near Gillson Park.

The Police and the fire department officials were called to the scene at about 5 p.m. when a paddle boarder saw the body about 50-100 yards offshore.

According to the Preliminary investigation by police, it is revealed that the deceased person was in the water for a prolonged period.

The investigation was going on as no further information was revealed.
