According to the reports a 55-year-old man was drowned in Lake Michigan while swimming near Bryn Mawr Avenue on the North Side. The Chicago police reported that the man and the woman went into the lake at about 12:45 am near Ardmore Hollywood Beach.
The woman came out of the water but saw that man was struggling. She called the police when she lost his sight. The Police marine unit and rescue Fire department responded and search the area at about 2:15 am but due to rough water conditions, they have to stop their search.
They resumed the search early morning and found a man’s body near the dog beach in the 700 block of West Foster Drive.
