Toronto Police have recovered the body of a person from Lake Ontario near Ontario Place along Toronto’s waterfront. The person was reportedly swimming in the lake when he drowned. In a Tweet, the police said that officers were engaged in the marine rescue when the body of a person was recovered from the water. The identity and the gender of the person is not yet revealed.
