Adam McKelvey at Lake Ontario

Adam McKelvey was 42 years old when he was drowned in Lake Ontario while swimming. According to the Sheriff’s Office Adam was enjoying swimming with his friends family and children when he saw a child began struggling in the water. Adam and other swimmers tried to help him and at some point, he became fatigued and slipped under the surface. The child was taken to the shore safely. Later Adam was brought to the shore where life-saving measures were performed. He was taken to Oswego Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
