Alan Shultz at Sodus Point

Alan Shultz was 66 years old when he was drowned in October at Sodus Bay near Thornton Point. According to reports, Alan was with his friend David on a boat while fishing when they were hit by a large wave. Their boat was capsized and they were plunged into 49-degree water. Both men were clung to capsized boat for about half-hour when Alan was drifted away. David just got hold of the overturned boat as he was rescued by a passing boat after 4 hours. Alan drowned in October but his body was found on April 14, 2012.
