Aleem Ramji at Kincardine’s main beach

Aleem Ramji was a man who tried to save two teens from drowning when he ultimately drowned himself in the choppy waters of Lake Huron. He was 38 years old when he was drowned. The two teens were swept off from the pier and Aleem jumped after them to save them. The Kincardine fire and emergency services were able to bring the two men out of the water. Aleem was also pulled to the shore unresponsive. He was transported to local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
