Rescue members were called on Monday evening when an 18-year-old man was drowned in Lake Michigan at Kenosha’s lakefront. According to the police, the 18-year-old man was swimming with a friend when he encounters some difficulties due to undertow current. The second male was able to reach the shore but the 18-year-old went underwater. The bystander jumped into the water to rescue him but unable to reach him. The Kenosha County Dive Team and the U.S. Coast Guard quickly locate the man and bring him to the shore. All efforts for life-saving were done but of no use as he was pronounced dead at the scene.
