An unknown Father and daughter drowned in Lake Superior

This sad incident happens near Park Point Beach in Duluth when both Father and daughter went missing on Thursday. According to Fire officials, they were called to the scene when a girl reported that her father and younger sister went inside water while swimming.

Multiple agencies including US Coast guards and St. Louis County Rescue Squad take part in the rescue operation but they face difficulties because of high waves that are about 7 feet high. The guards located the girl about 5:22 pm while her father was found around 6 pm.

Both of them were taken to Essential Health in Duluth where they were pronounced dead.
