An Unknown man at Rainbow Beach

A man found dead at the Rainbow beach wearing a life jacket and clinging to Rocks. The Chicago fire department responded to a call when a man founded in the water near the South Water Purification Plant. Crew members had to break the lock of the gate to gain access to the private area near the water’s edge. After he was rescued the emergency responders performed CPR but unable to revive him. He was declared dead in South Shore Hospital.
