An Unknown man died at 59th Street, near Jackson Park

In a tragic incident, a man who was 71 years old drowned in Lake Michigan at 59th Street, near Jackson Park.

An official from the Chicago Fire Department said that they were called to the scene just before midnight when a man fell into the water due to cardiac arrest.

In total darkness and zero visibility, the dive team rescued the man and took him to the University of Chicago Medical Center in a very grave condition.

He was pronounced dead later on.
