Unknown Man

An unknown man lost his life in Lake Ontario while swimming.

According to Peel Regional Police (PRP), they received multiple reports of a swimmer who was in distress inside the water just before 4 p.m.

The PRP marine unit along with other fire departments searched the area and found the man just before 6 pm.

The man believed to be in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene.
