In a tragic incident, an Unknown man who was on his personal watercraft drowned in Lake Ontario near the Burlington Lift Bridge.

According to the police, they received the call that a man was having trouble swimming back to shore at about 7 p.m. on June 17.

On arriving they found the man inside the water at about 7:30 p.m.

He was taken to the local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
