An Unknown man in his 50 drown in Lake Erie

A man vacationing at a resort near Port Colborne, Ont. was drowned in Lake Erie. According to the Niagara Police, they receive the call for help at about 5 pm regarding a man who was in distress about 180 meters from shore at the Sherkston Shores Beach Resort. Police, firefighters, and Helicopters search the man for around 7:40 pm. The police say that the man was alone at the time of the incident and was in the water on an inflatable lounger. The police have not released the name of the man.
