An unknown man is dead after falling in Lake Ontario near Toronto’s Harbourfront

A man lost his life after falling into Lake Ontario near Toronto’s Harbourfront on Saturday morning. The police responded to a call at about 8:18 am that a possible drowning has happened on the lake. ]

The man reportedly fell in the water and the woman jumped after him to assist him. The man was holding the life ring but he went underwater.

The marine unit was able to recover both man and the woman. The man was given CPR but pronounced dead at the hospital.

The woman receives minor injuries but was in stable condition. The police are investigating the drowning.
