An Unknown man was pronounced dead after being pulled from Lake Ontario

A man was pronounced dead after being pulled unconscious from Lake Ontario at Kew-Balmy beach in the east end on Saturday afternoon. According to witnesses the man went into the water but may be due to some undertow current he was pulled under and didn’t resurface. The lifeguards went inside the water and pulled him to the shore. He was unconscious, the paramedics performed CPR and give him oxygen then transport him to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
