Anthony Paul Diehl at Beaver Creek

Anthony Paul Diehl was 33 years old when he drowned in Lake Michigan near Beaver Creek, OH. Anthony trying to save his 7-year-old nephew and 9-year-old niece, himself lost his life with his nephew.

According to the report, the family was swimming when a huge wave comes and Anthony saw that his nephew and niece were struggling in the water. He rushed to save them, the last thing the family saw was Anthony carrying his nephew and then they both disappeared inside the water.

The 7-year-old body was recovered from a different spot from where he was drowned and Anthony’s body was recovered about 50 yards west of the south pier.
