Brett Vanetten

Brett Vanetten was 20 years old when his body was found in Lake Michigan on Thursday afternoon almost 24 hours after drowning. He was separated from friends in the water on Wednesday. The body was caught under 7 feet of water about a quarter of a mile west of where he was last seen, off the shore of Wells Street Beach in Gary, Ind.
