Brian Herrmann at Big Sable River

Brian Herrmann was 38 years old when drowned in Lake Michigan near Ludington State Park. He was drowned while swimming near the mouth of the Sable River where rip currents were very strong. According to investigators, Herrmann was swimming with his family when they all become in distress. His wife and two children were saved by beachgoers but Herrmann went missing. It was after two days of hard searching that his body was found.
