Briana Joy Burden at Lakefront near Olive Park

In a tragic incident, Briana Joy Burden who was just 20 years old lost her life while 6 others were injured when her boat was capsized in Lake Michigan.

The accident happened on July 28 when the boat hit the break wall and capsized with seven people onboard.

According to the report, Chicago Fire Department rescue personnel were called to the scene at about 4 am after the incident.

Despite their best efforts, they were able to rescue 5 people with one person swimming back to the shore while Briana went underwater and drowned.
