Carlos Juan Penaco at Montrose Harbor

Carlos Juan Penaco was 26 years old when he was drowned in Lake Michigan while swimming. The Chicago Police Marine Unit responded to a call about 4:55 pm that a man was struggling inside the water at Montrose Harbor at 501 W. Montrose Ave. He was pulled from the late and immediately taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
