In a tragic incident, a 12-year-old boy died when he drowned in Lake Michigan near Neshotah Beach.
According to the report, the boy was last seen at the northernmost end of Neshotah Beach, struggling, and then went under water.
He was taken out with the help of a Manitowoc Police officer who assisted in bringing him back to the shore.
CPR and other life-saving measures were given to him before transporting him to the hospital.
He was then transported to Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers where he was pronounced dead.
His name was not released because of his family’s privacy.
The police have confirmed that the 14 years old was drowned and lost his life while trying to cross the channel between Waukegan Harbor and the city’s beach. According to the reports, the boy was among the 4 teenagers who tried to cross the channel. One of the boys who went earlier also face problems and he was rescued by a passerby. The other two stand on the bank and did not try to cross the channel. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 15-year-old boy was assumed to be drowned on Tuesday when he went into the lake with his other three friends and never show up again. The rescue mission continues his search but failed. According to a Chicago Fire Department official. “He got swept offshore, and was not able to get back into shore.” According to David Benjamin, the executive director of the Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project says that officials must take serious action and prevent precautions to make safety for people so these kinds of incidents must be prevented in the future.

A 23-year-old unknown man lost his life in Lake Michigan at Loyola Beach on Late Sunday night.
The police and Fire department responded to a call at around 11:59 pm about a person in distress in the 1200 block of West Touhy Avenue.
A witness told them that a man entered the water late at night and never came out.
A rescue search was conducted and the man was pulled from the water.
He was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His name was not released by the authorities.
A 23-year-old Unknown man drowned in Lake Michigan at North Beach in Racine.
According to the report, a man and a woman both drowned at North Beach in Racine when they were rescued.
The man was unresponsive when taken out of the water. He was given CPR until the Racine Fire Department arrived at the scene.
The woman was also taken to the hospital, although she was conscious and breathing.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
