Charles D. McCarley at Ottawa County’s West Harbor

Charles D. McCarley was 46 years old when he was drowned in Ottawa County’s West Harbor. He was visiting his Father’s home in northern Ohio in summer when he went out to listen to music on a docked boat. More than 12 hours later, police found Charles’s body beneath the same boat. According to the police, foul play is not suspected as earlier Charles was drinking with his father, fell into the water, and drowned.
