Chris Alkerton at Rock Point Provincial Park

Chris Alkerton a kid just 18 years old drowned in Lake Erie when he went camping with a friend’s family at Rock Point Provincial Park — 130 kilometres from Toronto on Lake Erie. It was a Sunday morning when Alkerton went swimming with his cousin when suddenly he started to go under the water. That’s when he warned his cousin not to come closer and go back to shore and seek help. Till the time they came back with the guards, he was already drowned.
