Christopher Pinto at Whitby shore

Christopher Pinto was 50 years old when he went missing in Lake Ontario and authorities were trying to find him. The incident happens on Tuesday when a boater observes that a boat was drifting on the water about 3 kilometers away from the Whitby Shoreline.

He approached the boat and find that there is a woman inside it who was in distress and the mist is broken. Despite the strong wind, the boater was able to rescue the woman and bring her to the shore. The Paramedics were there to treat her and she was doing fine but there was no sign of Christopher.

On investigation, it was known that the boat belongs to Christopher and he was not known to be an experienced sailor. The search for Christopher was still going on.
