Cory Althar & James Wells at Geneva State Park

On May 18, Cory Althar & James Wells went out to Lake Erie on their 15-foot skiff and had not returned before dark. Multiple people make radio calls when they heard two people call for help and they are in distress. The US Helicopter found an overturned boat at about 1:30 am about half a mile away from Geneva State Park. Cory body was recovered on May 31 and James on the first week of June.
