Curtis Wilmer at Big Bay State Park

Curtis Wilmer was 41 years old when he lost while cliff jumping in Lake Superior. The La Pointe Police Department receives the call at around 12:40 pm Sunday that a man jumped off the Eagles Nest within Big Bay State Park and didn’t resurface. His body was pulled from Lake Superior at around 12:30 pm Monday. Authorities say that the swimming conditions were not good at that time.
