David Halford & Kyle Reibly at Well Street Beach

David Halford & Kyle Reibly were among the group of people who tried to save the child from drowning from a strong rip current. The emergency crew responded to a call around 2: 30 pm that a child and several other people were in distress inside water. The child was saved and 5 people were taken out of the water from which David and Kyle were pronounced dead in the hospital.
