Derek S. Hansen was 45 years old when his body was washed up on the shore of Lake Superior south of Split Rock Lighthouse. His body was found on 25th November, Saturday and on Sunday the Sheriff’s office reported that Hansen was drowned. There are no possible signs of foul play suspected in his drowning.
