Destiny Bahena at Beverly Shores, Ind.

Destiny Bahena a 9-year-old girl was drowned in Lake Michigan near Beverly Shores, Ind. According to reports, Destiny was with a bunch of 12-15 girls in the water when her 6-year-old sister was pushed down by another girl. In an urge to save her sister, the waves took her out to where she couldn’t stand up again. The family found the 6-year-old floating in the water and also found the Destiny floating waist high inside the water. Immediately both girls were transported to St Anthony Hospital in Michigan City. Later both girls were transported to South Bend Memorial where Destiny was pronounced dead but her sister is in stable condition.
