Dewayne Shreve at Haviland Bay

Dewayne Shreve was 25 years old when he was drowned in Lake Superior in the Haviland Bay area. According to the reports at about 4 pm on August 4, 2016, two men went out on Lake Superior on their 12-foot aluminum boat with a six-horsepower motor. The weather was sunny and the waves were two-three feet high at that time. Their boat was capsized about 250 feet from the shore. Both the persons tried to reach the shore. The 23-year-old male was successful in reaching the shore but Dewayne went underwater and drowned. An extensive search was conducted to find him but of no success. His search is still undergoing.
