Donald Dorey at Long Point Beach

Donald Dorey was 42 years old when he was drowned while swimming with his family at Long Point Beach on Monday afternoon. He disappeared in the water near Woodstock Avenue at about 6 pm. His body was located by family members and other people realizing that he has not returned to the shore. When the Norfolk Emergency Services members arrive at the scene they found that people already performing CPR on Donald. CPR efforts were continued by the paramedics’ staff while he was rushed to Tillsonburg and District Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
