Donavon Vogel at Lake Superior State Campground

Donavon Vogel, a kid just 14 years old, lost his life in Lake Superior while swimming.

According to the press release, Donavon was swimming with his 15-year-old cousin when both of them were taken by an undertow current into the deeper water.

The 15-year-old was able to pull himself out of the deeper water but Donavon was pulled deeper into the water.

The waves were about 4–5 feet high at the time of the incident.

His body was found on Thursday afternoon.
