Earnest James at East 72nd Street marina

Earnest James was 45 years old when his body was found in Lake Erie. He was enrolled in an annual fishing competition in which 8000 people get enrolled each year. The US Coast Guard found James’s body at 10:30 am about 2 miles off the shore. He was wearing fishing gear at the time of the drowning.
