Elijah Looper at Lakeshore Drive

Elijah Looper was 21 years old when he went missing on November 15. He was last seen at the non-profit that works with teens. His body was discovered on February 14 on a private beach off Lakeshore Drive between West Side County Park and Pier Cove Park in Ganges Township.

His body was found by a person Sally Tyler who was sitting on the back deck of her home and spotted something on the shore. She goes near to the shore and upon realizing that the body is of some man she immediately calls the police for help.

The autopsy confirmed that the body is of Elijah who went missing a couple of months ago.

According to the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office, foul play is not suspected in his drowning.
