Erhard Fenzl at Pukaskwa National Park.

Erhard Fenzl was 73 years old when he was drowned in Lake superior when his canoe was capsized. According to officers Erhard enters the White River along with his friend on Saturday afternoon when their canoe spilled them into water. One man swept to the shore but Erhard was caught in a rip current. The other man who made it to the shore called the emergency crew and they located Erhard’s body about 500 meters off the shore. He was pronounced dead at the scene after repeated revival attempts.
