George Sosa at Lake Michigan

George Sosa just cleared his 8th-grade graduation when he was drowned tragically in North Avenue Beach. He was just 14 years old. According to reports, he was swimming with friends and celebrating his graduation when the incident happens. His childhood friend told police that we were swimming and George went too far, ultimately caught in a rip current.
