Gordon W. Lasceski at Hume Township

Gordon W. Lasceski was 30 years old when he was drowned in Lake Huron in Hume Township near Port Austin. He was swimming with his fiance and 2 kids when he was caught in a rip current which results in his drowning. His fiance and kids were also caught in the current but they were able to make it to the shore. Lasceaski just went underwater and never resurface. The woman reaching the shore called the emergency crew for help. Lasceski was found after 20 minutes of search but no life signs are found. He was pronounced dead around 10:30 pm.
