Gregory Froede at Beaver Island

Gregory Froede was 39 years old when he was drowned in Lake Michigan at Beaver Island. He was with a friend on a boat when he jumped into the lake for swimming but never resurfaced. His friend Daniel Rowland circled the area for about two hours looking for his friend until his boat ran out of gas. Finally, he gave a call to 911 and report missing his friend. His body was recovered on October 10.
