Herman Teichroeb at Lake Erie

Herman Teichroeb was 24 years old when he was disappeared while swimming with his two relatives in front of the West Beach in Port Burwell. They were about 100 meters offshore when all began to struggle. The other two men were able to make it to the shore with the help of one another man but Herman was drowned. Police and Fire crew members find his body and tried to revive but he was pronounced dead at Tillsonburg Hospital.
