Ivan Echevarria at Diversey Harbor

Ivan Echevarria a teen just 18 years old when he was drowned in Lake Michigan at Diversey Harbor. According to Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford, two friends were walking along the lakefront when a huge wave swept away the Ivan into water. His friend tried to save him but unable to do so. The rescue workers have to call off the search after an hour due to extreme weather conditions.
