James Paul VanDosen at Wayne County

James Paul VanDosen was 36 years old when his body was found near a state park in northeastern Monroe County after three days of search. His body was found about 150 feet from shore, north of Swan Creek. According to reports, VanDosen was at fireworks on Wednesday with his girlfriend and children when he swam towards one child and caught into trouble. The 8-year-old child was saved by a boater but VanDosen could not be found.
