Jesus Garcia at North Suburban, Waukegan

Jesus Garcia was 16 years old when he was drowned in Lake Michigan at North Suburban Waukegan. The Waukegan Fire Department responded to a call around 6: 20 pm that a teenage boy was drowned in the lakefront area. The bystander removes the child from the water and upon the arrival of firefighters, he was taken to Vista Each Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The child remains underwater for several minutes.
