Joe Cherry was 27 years old when his body was pulled from Lake Michigan at Hyde Park neighborhood on Friday night. He was immediately taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. According to witnesses, Joe take off his shirt and jumped into the water but never resurfaced.
