Jose Alcazar at Lake Michigan

Jose Alcazar was 18 years old when he was drowned in Lake Michigan in Whiting, Ind.  He was swimming with a group of friends when they realized that he was in trouble. Emergency crew members were called to the scene after 8 pm when Alcazar and two friends jumped in the lake for fun. Alcazar did not know how to swim in deep water and he was caught in a rip current. Two of the friends tried to help him but he went under surface.
