Kirshnaraju Rudraraju at Indiana Dunes State Park

Kirshnaraju Rudraraju was 72 years old when he lost his life in Lake Michigan near Indiana Dunes State Park. A lifeguard at the scene noted that Kirshnaraju went underwater and failed to resurface. Lifeguards began to search the area and found Kirshnaraju 15 minutes later about 100 feet off the shore and 7 feet inside the water. Lifeguards brought him back to shore and started performing CPR. He was then taken to Northwest Health Porter Hospital in critical condition where he lost his life due to injuries.
