Kristen Stefan at Lake Erie

Kristen Stefan was 37 years old when she was drowned in Lake Erie while trying to save her son and friend. She was on a vacation with her husband and son when the sad incident happens. According to the reports, Stefan’s 9-year-old son Tyler and an 8-year-old friend were floating on an inner tube when they drifted far away. Stefan swam towards them but as the three of them climbed a rocky cliff, Tyler fell in the water again. She jumped after him but never resurfaced. Tyler continues to drift about 200 feet away when a man living nearby came to his rescue.
