Marcos Quito at Clark Street Beach

Marcos Quito was 31 years old when drowned in Lake Michigan near Clark Street Beach. Authorities were called to the scene at about 8:30 pm when a man goes underwater and didn’t resurface. A citizen and fire personnel helped to get the man on the shore. Marcos was taken to Evanston Hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to the police, no signs of foul play were suspected in his drowning.
